Dismayed isn't the word I would use, Disgusted would be closer to the mark.
Not at the EU wanting to scrap the crown from pint glasses that I take for granted and expect from Eurocrats, rather the comments by readers under that article itself.
Given that regardless of public opinion our illustrious leaders be they Labour, Conservative or even the outsiders Liberal Democrats the EU gravy train is too much for them to resist and they are all perfectly happy to sell our nation out down the river.
Which begs the question, what hope is left? certainly we wont ever see a referendum, no government likes a good face slapping.
It was heartening to read that the Radio 4 poll Repeal the 1972 European communities act came 2nd at least.
