Clamping on Private land has been outlawed in Scotland ... the courts see it as theft and extortion but it still continues in England BUT the writing is on the wall.
Issuing 'parking tickets' on private land is also about to meet the Grim Reaper as the public wise up to the fact that it is nothing more than a scam that has no legal basis and any fines levied are unenforceable and simply rely on the motorist being bullied or intimidated into paying up.
So, what is left for the owners of private car parks to discourage cars from parking ...
