It's all to play for. Its all to play for.

Ian McCartney, Evening Chronicle 29.10.04 - "With a week to go, it's all to play for. As the campaign enters its last lap, I'm meeting more and more people who see the real benefits of a yes vote and the strong voice it will deliver for the North East."

John Prescott, Hartlepool Mail 29.10.04 - "So with a week to go, it's all to play for.... As the campaign enters its last lap, I am meeting more and more people who see the real benefits of a yes vote and the strong voice it will deliver for the North-East.''

Not a breach of purdah, as they're not speaking as Ministers but as parrots.

I think there may be a misunderstanding here. Is it possible that the purdah was never intended to apply to Ministers, but to the Electoral Commission?
