I too was caught by the famous Highgate High St. "No Entry from the East sign".The notice took ages to arrive and Camden's websites were not working so my representation got "lost in the system". To avoid the higher fine I paid it without prejudice. Soon after the "No Entry" was taken down and there is now an ambiguous "No Right Turn" many yards before the turn that could refer to the Bus Stand. My complaint has been handed back to the Parking dept and seems to be going in ircles.
Guess What?
After falling foul of the Highgate Trap,
I have received another notice for a no entry sign in NW5, showing a picture of my car (about to obey another No Entry) in NW3 nearly 2 miles away!
The Camera Car was parked with its lights off near New End Hampstead. Hasn't a motorist just gone to prison for perverting the course of justice?
Doesn't it work both ways?
