Who knew NESNO were the No Campaign?

No campaign has no answers
The decision by the North East Says No Campaign to decline to give oral evidence to the House of Commons Select Committee (15th September) scrutinising the Bill setting out the powers and functions of a future North East Assembly has been criticised today by the Northern TUC.

Kevin Rowan, TUC Regional Secretary said:
"The decision by North East Says No to decide against giving oral evidence to the ODPM Select Committee confirms our view that the 'No Campaign' has no case for suggesting that the people of the North East should not be given a greater say over the decisions that affect their everyday lives."

Notes to Editors:
The North East Says No Campaign was scheduled to give oral evidence to the ODPM Select Committee on Wednesday 15 September 2004.
Yes 4 the North East will be giving oral evidence to the Committee on Wednesday 15 September 2004.
