ANOTHER of John Prescott’s grand schemes bites the dust.
The canny people of the North East rightly dismissed his ludicrous plan for a mini-Parliament.
They knew it would mean more bureaucrats, petty laws, self-serving politicians, hot air and a huge bill for council taxpayers.
They didn’t ask for it and they didn’t need it.
But Two Jags insisted on pressing ahead with the project.
And now he has his answer — a bloody nose.
Tony Blair should take note.
