Absolutely stunning Victory Congratulations
To all of you, what a fantastic team!
To Neil and all your helpers - THANK YOU!! We're down here in East Anglia and we are SO GRATEFUL to you. You are now a folk hero for the whole of England. We, the ordinary, working class people of England owe you a great debt for saving us all from fake devolution, a chopped up country of competing tin pot regions.
You've made the difference. We cried with relief when we heard the result. THANK YOU AGAIN!
Well done, North East No Campaign and the people of the North East. Common sense prevailed.
This is also a result that will have the politicians and spin doctors worried. We need now to dismantle to farcical English regional assemblies (and their disastrous GLA equivalent, backed by only 22% of Londoners).
Give the people - not conniving politicians - more power over their lives and taxes.

I have been watching this David and Goliath battle very anxiously. My mother came from Sunderland and, if she were still alive, would have joined in my whoop of delight this morning. She shared my support for you and Steve. I wish he, like her, could have lived to see such splendid proof that Common Sense is alive and well in the North East. UKIP Treachery and Sabotage in NE fail to hand Presott Victory
A stunning victory for the ousted, disbanded and disqualified members of UKIP's former North East Regional Committee was announced last night. With their leading campaigners Neil Herron and Colin Moran they saw their wildest hopes exceeded when the results were declared as follows:-
The total number of people voting against the plans was 696,519 (78%), while 197,310 (22%) voted in favour.
Official figures showed 47.8% of the region's 1.9 million voters took part in the all-postal ballot.

Congratulations to to Michael Rollings, Judith Wallace (Chairman of NEARA, North East against Regional Assemblies) and Martin Rouse the founders of NEARA and respectively the former Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of UKIP's NE Regional Committee. The vote is counted, the victory is huge and the story of how UKIP aligned itself with the country's pro-EU political establishment to further rob the people of their democracy can now be told!

A great result. It was obvious when I spoke to you at midnight in Sunderland about the decisive No votes in Gateshead and Newcastle that the writing was on the wall for this referendum. It just got better as the other results came in. We could all see the boxes in Sunderland well before this. Look forward to reading your blog in the future.

Congratulations, Neil.
If the Americans had known ahead of time our country wouldn't have been divided into regions 30 years ago.
Now you have to work with the other EU nations and stop it there too. It's a worldwide conspiracy, this regional governance business and nothing but a scheme to remove the last remnants of patriotism so we can all become 'citizens of the one world's regions'and not our sovereign nations.
Now do the same thing with the referendum.
